Extension in Bry-sur-Marne, Val-de-Marne (94)
Extension project of a 1930s brick house.
For the extension façades, we chose materials that contrast with the existing structure to emphasize the modern aspect of the addition—specifically, charred wood cladding and black aluminum joinery.
Charred wood was selected for its aesthetic and durable qualities; it's an exceptional material with a unique texture that doesn’t deteriorate over time.
